Important notes

Terms of Engagement

  1. The engagement is purely temporary and gives no right to claim the status of a regular HAL employee.
  2. No allowance or benefit is given other than the remuneration and conveyance mentioned in the notification.
  3. The Visiting Consultant must follow company rules and regulations.
  4. The Visiting Consultant must keep all official matters and information confidential.
  5. Income Tax, Service Tax, Professional Tax and other applicable taxes are deducted from the remuneration.
  6. The Consultant must visit the IHC on suitable days when informed by the Chief of Medical Services (CoMS), and may be asked to attend emergencies.
  7. The engagement ends automatically when the tenure in the engagement letter is completed.
  8. Either side can end the engagement earlier with one month's written notice, or by payment in lieu of notice equal to remuneration for 5 visits.

Application Conditions

  1. Incomplete applications or applications not in the prescribed format will be rejected, with no correspondence.
  2. HAL is not responsible for any delay in receipt of applications.
  3. Submitting an application does not give any right to engagement.
  4. Candidates must declare that this engagement does not violate the terms of their current employment.
  5. False, incorrect or incomplete information can lead to cancellation of candidature or engagement without notice.

HAL Rights

  1. HAL may engage or not engage a Visiting Consultant against this requirement.
  2. HAL may cancel the advertisement or selection process without giving any reason.

  4. HAL may call or not call any or all candidates who respond.
  5. The decision of HAL is final.
