GCRI Radiation Safety Officer Bharti 2026 - 9 Posts

Radiation Safety Officer GCRI Bharti 2026 invites online applications for 9 non-teaching posts at Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute (GCRI) and its satellite centres. Candidates with a Physics-based qualification and AERB RSO certification can apply online till 16 November 2026, 23:59 hours.

Qualification (any one of the following, for both RSO and Physicist cum RSO):

1. Post-graduate degree in Physics and Diploma in Radiological Physics or Medical Physics from a University established under a Central or State Act in India, or an institution recognized or deemed as a University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956; or
2. Graduate degree in Science with Physics as principal subject and post-graduate degree in Radiological Physics or Medical Physics from the same type of recognized University/institution.

Mandatory Certification:

• RSO certification from AERB is a must.
• The Diploma in Radiological Physics or Medical Physics must be in line with Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) requirements.

Experience:

• Internship experience of minimum 12 months in a well-equipped radiation therapy department recognized by AERB, Government of India.

Other Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Age Limit:

Not more than 39 years, which can be relaxed for a deserving candidate. PH and women candidates get age relaxation as per Government rules.
