GMRC Land Acquisition R&R Bharti 2026 - 4 Posts

GMRC Land Acquisition R&R Bharti 2026 invites applications for 4 posts in Land Acquisition (LA) and Resettlement and Rehabilitation (R&R). Candidates with a full-time MSW degree and relevant experience can apply online by 21 October 2026.

The recruitment is under Notification No. GMRCL/HR/RECT/R&R/Oct-2026/28, dated 3 October 2026. GMRC is a 50:50 SPV of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, handling Ahmedabad Metro Phase-I and II and Surat Metro Phase-I. Posts are on Contract, Deputation or Post-superannuation basis for a minimum of 3 years, extendable up to 5 years based on performance. Selected candidates may be posted at Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat or any other GMRC project in Gujarat.

Educational Qualification (all posts)

• Post-graduate degree in MSW (Master of Social Work, Full Time) from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
• Social work background with computer proficiency in MS Office.

Post-wise Experience

• Assistant Manager (LA and R&R): minimum 7 years of post-qualification Executive-level experience in a reputed private organization, or 5 years in Government/PSU. Experience should cover land acquisition (especially the RFCTLARR Act, 2013 and Gujarat Government GRs), R&R policy preparation and implementation, social development, livelihood programmes for PAPs, training and capacity building, and liaison with Govt. bodies and private agencies.
• Sr. Executive (LA and R&R): minimum 3 years of post-qualification Executive-level experience in a reputed private organization or Government/PSU.
• Executive (LA and R&R): minimum 2 years of post-qualification Executive-level experience in a reputed private organization or Government/PSU. Experience should cover R&R policy, social development, planning and monitoring, and livelihood programmes for PAPs.
• Preference for knowledge of national and State guidelines, policies and Acts on land acquisition and R&R, and for experience in infrastructure or urban transport sectors.

Age Limit (as on 03/10/2026)

Age limit does not apply to GMRCL employees. Age relaxation does not apply to officials re-employed in GMRCL after superannuation. Category-wise relaxation is not stated.

Pay Eligibility for Assistant Manager

• Presently working in Revised IDA scale ₹50,000-1,60,000 or equivalent CDA scale in Govt/PSU/Metro Rail Corporation; OR
• At least 2 years in Revised IDA scale Non-Executive grade ₹46,000-1,45,000, Executive grade ₹40,000-1,40,000, or Level 6 of 7th CPC in Govt/PSU/Metro Rail; OR
• At least 4 years in Revised IDA scale Non-Executive grade ₹40,000-1,25,000, Executive grade ₹35,000-1,10,000 or equivalent CDA scale; OR
• Private sector candidates must have a minimum CTC of ₹70,000 per month.

Deputation and Internal Candidates

• Employees of Indian Railways, Metro Rail, State or Central Govt. PSUs/Boards can apply on deputation under their parent organization terms.
• GMRC staff with at least 2 years of service in their present designation and grade as on 03/10/2026 may apply through proper channel.
