GSSSB Class 3 CCE Bharti 2026 - 1237 Posts (Junior Clerk, Senior Clerk, Sub Registrar & More)

GSSSB Class 3 CCE Bharti 2026 is a big chance for Gujarat graduates, with 1237 Class-3 posts through the Gujarat Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination. Candidates with a graduation degree in any discipline, basic computer knowledge and knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi can apply online on OJAS until 30 November 2026.

The recruitment is notified under Advertisement No. 468/202627 dated 03 November 2026 by Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal, Gandhinagar. Group-A covers Sub Registrar Grade-1 and Grade-2, Assistant Tribal Development Officer, Samaj Kalyan Nirikshak (Social Welfare Inspector), Office Superintendent, Office Assistant (GPSC), Head Clerk and Senior Clerk. Group-B is Junior Clerk in many departments such as Transport, Education, Forest, Cooperative, Medical Education, Tribal Development and Food & Civil Supplies.

Posts are spread across Heads of Department offices in Gujarat, including Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad. After 5 years of fixed pay, satisfactory service makes candidates eligible for the regular pay scale as per Government rules, subject to the final Supreme Court ruling in SLP No. 14124/2012 and 14125/2012.

Educational Qualification (as on 30.11.2026)

• Graduate degree from any university established by Central/State Act, a recognised institution, or a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government
• Basic knowledge of computers as per the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both

Computer Knowledge Certificate

Any training-institute certificate/marksheet as per the GAD syllabus, a computer diploma/degree/certificate course, a degree or diploma with computer as a subject, or SSC/HSC passed with computer as a subject. Candidates without it can still apply, but must submit it before appointment, or their selection will be cancelled.

Nationality

Must be a citizen of India or meet nationality rules under Rule 7 of the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.

Age Limit & Relaxation (as on 30.11.2026)

Reservation Conditions

• Reserved seats and age relaxation are only for SC, ST, SEBC and EWS candidates who are original residents of Gujarat
• Reserved candidates applying for unreserved posts get no age or other relaxation
• SEBC: Non-creamy layer certificate in Gujarati format (Appendix-4) issued between 01.04.2024 and 30.11.2026, or the Central Annexure-A format issued between 01.04.2026 and 30.11.2026
• Married SEBC women must get the non-creamy layer certificate based on their parents' income, not husband's, or the application will be cancelled
• EWS: Annexure-KH / Parishisht-Ga certificate issued between 01.12.2023 and 30.11.2026, or GoI Income & Asset Certificate issued between 01.04.2026 and 30.11.2026; Gujarat scheme-benefit certificates are not valid
• Women's reserved seats unfilled by women go to men of the same category; other seats are open to both men and women on merit

PwD Candidates

• Minimum benchmark disability required; disability certificate in the Health Department format dated 15.12.2025 is accepted
• Where no PwD seat is reserved, eligible disability types (B, LV, D, HH, OA, OL, BA, BL, OAL, BLOA, CP, LC, Dw, AAV, ASD, SLD, MI, MD, MDy, ID, SI, SD) may still apply with 10 years age relaxation (max 45)
• BA and BL candidates are subject to the SJED resolution dated 09.06.2023

Ex-Servicemen

• 10% posts reserved, adjusted against their own category
• Must have at least 6 months of service and hold an ID card and discharge book
• Those retiring within one year from the last date can also apply

1. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on OJAS if you have not done it yet; OTR alone does not count as an application.
2. Between 05.11.2026 (2:00 PM) and 30.11.2026 (11:59 PM), visit https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
3. Click "Online Application", then Apply, and select GSSSB.
4. Find Advt. No. 468/202627, click the post name, read "More Details" and then click "Apply now".
5. Click "Skip" and fill the form:
   • Personal Details (all fields marked * are compulsory)
   • Educational Details
   • Accept the Assurance by selecting "Yes" and click Save
6. Note the Application Number generated after saving.
7. Click "Upload Photograph", enter the Application Number and date of birth, and upload photo and signature in JPG (max 15 KB each).
8. Go to "Confirm Application", check every detail carefully, edit if needed, and then confirm; save the Confirmation Number.
9. Pay the exam fee online via "Print Application Form / Pay Fees" by 02.12.2026 (11:59 PM) and print the fee receipt.
10. Print the confirmed application form and keep it until the recruitment ends; it cannot be downloaded after the last date.
