Post-wise qualification:

  • Scientist-E (Library Science), Group A: Ph.D + 9 years of experience, OR M.Lib / M.L.I.Sc or equivalent + 15 years of relevant experience. Filled on deputation for one year.
  • Scientist-B (Computer Science), Group A (lien vacancy): B.E. / MCA or equivalent + 1 year of relevant experience. Direct recruitment.
  • Senior Assistant / Office Assistant-II, Group B: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least second class, plus 5 years of experience in Purchase & Stores / Accounts / Establishment in a university, government, autonomous body or reputed private firm. Desirable: B.Com/M.Com, and knowledge of Tally, PFMS, TDS/GST, audit procedure and financial statements.

  3. Call letters are sent by e-mail only, and only to shortlisted candidates. The Centre is not responsible for bounced or spam e-mails.
  4. No TA is paid for the test or interview. No change of test or interview date will be considered.
  5. The Director's decision in any dispute is final.

Application and Fee

  1. The fee is Rs. 1,000 for all except SC/ST, PwBD, ex-servicemen and women. It is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  2. Applications without the required fee (where applicable) or documents are rejected.
  3. Candidates applying for more than one post must send a separate hard copy for each.

Communication and Document Verification

  1. Original documents must be shown at the test or interview.

  3. Selected candidates need a medical fitness certificate from a Civil Surgeon of a government hospital.
