MECON Executive Bharti 2026 - 111 Posts

MECON Executive Bharti 2026 is a recruitment drive by MECON Limited, a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Steel, for 111 Executive posts in the regular scale of pay. Experienced engineers, HR professionals and law graduates can apply online until 29 October 2026.

The notification is Ref. Adv. No. 2026/Reg/07. Applications are invited only from regular employees of CPSEs and large private sector companies of repute. The company has its head office at Doranda, Ranchi. Posts are in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation, Ceramic, Chemical, Mining and Metallurgy engineering, along with HR and Law. Selected candidates may be posted at any project, location or office in India.

• Post codes 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 (Law): Degree in Law (BL/LLB or equivalent) or 5-year integrated Bachelor of Law

Minimum post-qualification experience (as on 01.09.2026):

Type of experience:

• Engineering posts: Design & Engineering, project execution in industry, or inspection & quality control.
• HR posts: handling the entire gamut of HR and IR functions.
• Law posts: handling legal matters.

Minimum marks:

For post codes 31 to 50, no minimum percentage is set. The candidate must have passed the qualification and hold the pass certificate. Percentages are not rounded (59.99% is not 60%). If only grades are given, mention the equivalent percentage and submit a grade-to-percentage conversion document. A 10-point CGPA of 6.0 is treated as 60%.

Mode of study:

• Engineering and Law degrees must be Regular / Full Time only.
• HR qualification can be Regular, Full Time or Open and Distance Learning from a UGC recognised university.
• Qualifications must be from universities or institutes recognised by the Government or accredited by bodies such as UGC, AICTE, MCI, ICAI or ICSI.
• For MBA/PGDM, submit proof of specialisation. For dual specialisation, one subject must match the required qualification.

Age: The upper age limit is 50 years as on the cut-off date 01.09.2026. The minimum age is not stated. After relaxation, the maximum age on the cut-off date cannot exceed 52 years.

Age relaxation:

Ex-Servicemen relaxation is as per Government of India guidelines. PwD means 40% or more disability.

What counts as work experience:

• Experience must be as a regular employee of a CPSE or a large private organisation with annual turnover above ₹2,000 crore in any of the last 3 financial years (2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26). Listed companies get preference.
• Experience must be in the relevant area for the post.
• For intermittent jobs, only actual days of full-time work count.
• Training as MT/ET/GT in PSUs counts. Apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 counts with certificates from both the Statutory Body and the training organisation.
• Not counted: freelance, entrepreneurial, articleship, internship, academic project, teaching and research experience, and industrial or vocational training done as part of a course.

Other conditions: Only Indian nationals can apply. Government, PSU and autonomous body employees must apply through proper channel or bring an NOC at the interview.

4. Fill in the online form with correct personal, educational and work experience details. Your Aadhaar number must match your Aadhaar card.
5. Upload your documents:
   • Recent passport size colour photo in jpg/jpeg, under 40 KB
   • Signature with blue or black pen in jpg/jpeg, under 40 KB
   • Self-attested scanned documents in PDF. Merge multiple documents into one PDF, not above 1 MB. Documents must be legible and non-encrypted.
6. If you are in the UR, EWS or OBC (NCL) category, pay the ₹1,000 fee online by clicking 'Proceed for online payment' in the form.
7. Review the form carefully and submit it before 29 October 2026. Changes are not allowed after submission.
8. Save a copy of the submitted form. Bring its hard copy to the interview if you are shortlisted. Do not post any documents.

• Experience certificates for all past employments, showing joining date, relieving date, nature of duties and relevance to the post
• For current employment: experience certificate, offer or appointment letter, or ID card showing joining date, plus the last 3 months' pay slips
• For private sector employers: proof of turnover above ₹2,000 crore, such as an audited annual report, audited Profit & Loss statement, an MCA report, or a turnover certificate on the company letterhead
• Apprenticeship certificates from both the Statutory Body and the training organisation, if claimed

Category and Reservation Documents

• SC/ST certificate in the prescribed format
• OBC (NCL) certificate in the Government of India format, issued on or after 02.09.2025. An older certificate can be uploaded first, and the new one must be shown at the interview or before joining.
• EWS: self-attested valid Income & Asset certificate as per DoPT O.M. dated 31.01.2019
• PwD certificate in the prescribed format from the competent authority
• Discharge or service certificate for Ex-Servicemen
• J&K domicile certificate in the prescribed format
• Meritorious Sportsperson certificate, if applicable
